MinkRelVis v0.2b

MinkRelVis is a program which combines direct relativistic visualisation and "traditional" visualisation of relativistic effects as Minkowski Diagrams (time/space-diagrams or flatland diagrams) The program is written in Java2 using the Java3D Scenegraph API. The whole program operates in interactive frame rates on a PIII-500Mhz or similair and a modern graphic card like a Geforce-256. It supports a variety of major 3d file formats.

Screenshot showing the complete MinkRelVis program the left viewport shows the normal view, upper right the relativistic view and lower right the Minkowski Diagram A 2+1D Minkowski Diagram generated by MinkRelVis the inertial frame of the observer is in rest
The same 2+1D Minkowski Diagram as above but the inertial frame of the observer is moving with a certain velocity in a certain direction A generated 2+1D Minkowski Diagramm rendered in a special NPR module developed for MinkRelVis
