- Context-Aware Mobile Visualization
The aim of this project is to develop a systemintegrated virtualized visualization pipeline to present complex data on mobile devices. One of the key research topics are thereby the design and prototypical implementation of context-aware visualization techniques.
- Context-Based Assistant Systems for People with Sensory Handicaps
The goal of this project is to develop and evaluate multi-purpose devices to support the independency and mobility of handicapped users. The devices are designed to make use of local sensor information and combine it with the Nexus World Model to compensate for missing senses.

Expired Projects of the 1st Funding Period

- Abstraction of the Augmented World Model for AR-Applications
The long-term aim of this Part Project is to support an easy integration of AR-applications in the Nexus-System.
- Orientation Aid for the Blind
The goal of this project is to improve the navigation and orientation possibilities of blind or partially sighted persons using mobile devices, which can unite local sensor information with model information from site-based services.
