machtest is a freeware project under the GNU GPL Copyleft and can thus be enhanced by anyone that likes to do so. I would love to see additions to it, especially for OpenGL extensions I do not know so far.

machtest has been created by Matthias Hopf at the Visualization and Interactive Systems (VIS) group of the computer science department at the University of Stuttgart.
The machtest logo has been created by Matthias Schulz of SCHULZ CONSULTING.

How to provide additional test results

The machtest home page will prosper more and more, when you - yes, that is YOU - can provide me with more test results or even test scripts for inclusion into the results section. The distribution contains a file docs/Commiting which explains in detail how to send test results to me.

When you encounter some strange effects, please note also the docs/Bugs section. Perhaps the failure is already known...

Don't be afraid, it is really not too complicated :-)
